Liam continues to grow and learn more and more about the world around him. He seemed to spring to life this past month as he discovered many new things and became more interactive.
Liam has officially been in day care for a month and seems to really like it! Every time I pick him up (best part about my day), he is either sleeping or smiling when I get there. I love his day care and don't get me wrong, it's nice having my "adult time" at work during the day (with my amazing co-workers I might add), but I miss being home with him so much. I feel like I am missing out on so much not being with him all day every day. I sometimes sit at work and think about all the smiles I am missing - all the giggles I am missing - all the feedings I am missing - even the dirty diapers I am missing out on. I guess that's life, though.Sleep
Liam continues to be a great sleeper. He officially transitioned into his crib this month - partly because we moved and share a room with him now - partly because he outgrew his Rock n Play already! He seems to sleep much better being all sprawled out and having more room to stretch. He goes to bed at around 10pm every night and by the time he wakes up for his 4am snack, he is completely turned perpendicular to the way he started. He must move around a lot in his sleep! He usually is up for good around 8am every morning, which works out perfectly because that gives me time to get ready for work in the morning! Oh, and he has recently found his thumb -ha!Eating
If there is one thing that DID NOT change this month, it is that Liam LOVES to eat. He is now eating about 5-9oz at each feeding and eats every 2-4 hours (except at night he usually goes about 5-7 hours between feedings). Anyone who has seen Liam knows that he likes to eat....and eat....and eat.

Liam continues to teach me patience. He continues to teach me how to appreciate the little things in life. He continues to teach me humility and grace. Through his eyes, I remember that the world is big and I am small, and most of all, I remember that out of all the women in the world, God chose me to raise this beautiful baby boy to be a man of God.
